Assaf Resnick

Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer

Assaf Resnick is the CEO and Co-founder of BigPanda. Prior to founding BigPanda, Assaf was an investor at Sequoia Capital, where he focused on early and growth stage investing in software, internet and mobile sectors.

Assaf’s time at Sequoia gave him a front row seat into the challenges of IT scale, complexity and velocity that Operations teams faced within companies that were rapidly scaling and accelerating. This is the problem that Assaf founded BigPanda to solve.

Assaf Holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. He lives in Northern California with his wife and three children.


Ed Tang

Chief Financial Officer

Ed Tang is a highly experienced finance executive from Salesforce and Box, bringing decades of expertise to BigPanda as CFO. Ed joins BigPanda from Pindrop where he served as CFO, and previously spent two years as CFO at Lever where he led general functions and GTM operations.

As a former vice president at Box for five years and at Salesforce for nine, he played an instrumental role in the explosive growth of both companies. At Salesforce, he rose to vice president of finance, leading corporate and strategic planning teams during a period when the company experienced growth from $300 million to $5.4 billion in revenue.

Ed previously held various finance, strategy and corporate development positions at Williams-Sonoma, Safeway, Tradaq and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC Davis and enjoys traveling with his family and coaching youth sports.


Fred Koopmans

Chief Product Officer

Fred Koopmans, BigPanda's Chief Product Officer, is dedicated to driving innovation and collaboration, building trusted partnerships with customers, creating product roadmaps, and empowering individuals to achieve the extraordinary. He leads product strategy, product management, product marketing, and user experience teams at BigPanda.

Fred joins BigPanda from Cloudera, a hybrid data cloud company for enterprise analytics and machine learning, where he served as senior vice president of product management and scaled the business from $300 million to nearly $1 billion in annual revenue.

Before Cloudera, Fred made significant impacts at Bytemobile and Citrix. As architect and director of product management at Bytemobile, his innovative strategies increased revenue by 200%. Then at Citrix, he successfully revamped the service provider product development lifecycle, boosting customer adoption by 200%. Now at BigPanda, his product expertise continues to yield remarkable results.


Jason Walker

Chief Innovation Officer

From starting his career as a United States Marine Corps helicopter pilot to becoming the CIO of BigPanda, Jason Walker brings skill and professionalism to any situation regardless of scale, speed, or complexity.

Jason is driven to help customers accelerate their AIOps journey by leveraging BigPanda's practical applications to enhance operations performance and ignite transformative growth. He previously served as field CTO and then chief customer officer for BigPanda where he led the customer success team.

Previously, Jason spent ten years at Activision-Blizzard, leading Blizzard's IT operations transformation to support multi-product, always-online global gaming services with an AIOps-driven centralized OpsCenter. His positive experience as a BigPanda customer at Activision-Blizzard convinced him to become a Panda himself.


Joanna Johnston

Chief Customer Officer

Joanna Johnson joins BigPanda as Chief Customer Officer with extensive customer experience expertise and a proven track record in driving satisfaction and loyalty.

Joanna’s career spans 24 years in digital transformation, beginning with leadership roles in technical marketing and product management within HP's multi-billion dollar printer organization. Following HP, Joanna joined ServiceNow pre-IPO and led the build-out of its customer insights and analytics team, services strategy and innovation and GTM readiness functions. Most recently, Joanna was the VP of Americas Professional Services at Snowflake, leading the growth of Professional Services from $0 to $80M in revenue, contributing to a successful IPO in 2021.

Joanna's qualifications include a B.S. in Science, an MBA from the University of Oregon, and additional education from Harvard University and Stanford University. Known for her strategic vision, leadership, and ability to drive transformative changes, she excels in aligning people, systems, and strategy.


Leon Gendler

GM of Israel, Head of Engineering and R&D

Leon Gendler is the GM of Israel and Head of Engineering and R&D at BigPanda. With previous leadership roles at Sisense and Nice, he was pivotal in driving growth and transitioning products to high-scale, cloud-based platforms.

During his tenure as SVP Engineering and SVP Delivery at Sisense, Leon successfully scaled the Engineering department across multiple locations, propelling the company's revenue from $10M to over $100M ARR. At Nice, as VP R&D, he spearheaded strategic initiatives such as establishing a remote R&D center and revamping the architecture.

Leon holds an MSc. in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from Reichman University. In his spare time, Leon enjoys sports, reading sci-fi literature, and spending time outdoors with his family.


Matt Morgan

Chief People Officer

BigPanda’s Chief People Officer Matt Morgan is an innovative senior leader whose diverse background spans market research, streaming music, and fintech software. He is a driving force helping to unlock teams' human potential to achieve strategic goals.

With over twenty years of experience, Matt's passion, thoughtfulness, and expertise in people operations was honed through his decade in recruitment. Previously, Matt led HR at Pandora as the company massively upscaled and was a VP of Human Resources at The Nielsen Company. Notably, he spearheaded People Operations at Blend, propelling the company's exponential growth from 90 to over 400 employees and quadrupling its valuation, earning recognition as an Inc. Best Place to Work in 2019.

Guided by his strong belief in purpose-driven and values-based businesses, Matt’s devotion to building organizations is only matched by his dedication to developing human capital.


Sun Lee

Chief Marketing Officer

BigPanda CMO Sun Lee’s proven marketing leadership draws on her rare combination of analytical depth and creative brilliance. She is igniting BigPanda’s go-to-market engine and leading the marketing team.

As CMO of Sisu Data, Sun built a thriving marketing team and revitalized the company's branding and messaging. She brings a visionary approach to marketing from her leadership as a vice president of marketing at Pure Storage and SurveyMonkey. During her four years at SurveyMonkey, she led the company’s radical rebrand and contributed to its successful 2018 IPO.

Sun holds a BFA from the Art Center College of Design and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business. She also brings her expertise as an advisor to Gyaan, a revenue platform company. Outside of work, you’ll find Sun spending time with her family and on a quest to discover the best fried chicken and Cabernet Sauvignon.


Tal Wasser

Chief of Staff to the CEO

Tal Wasser is Chief of Staff to the CEO, responsible for managing cross-functional strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations at the C-level. Tal is instrumental in providing BigPanda leadership with company updates, aligning with cross-departmental teams, and connecting with investors, executives, and staff.

Previously, Tal worked in chief of staff and operations roles in Israel, including for Israeli parliament. Tal was instrumental in helping BigPanda grow as one of the first U.S. employees, where she worked with the Chief Revenue Officer and ensured the department reached critical key performance metrics.

Tal earned her degree in Physical Therapy from Ben-Gurion University of Negev. As an athletic former pro soccer player, she enjoys keeping up with Liverpool in European football and has hiked the 2500+ mile Pacific Crest Trail.
