BigPanda is an Autonomous Operations platform company that recently announced that it raised $50 million in Series C funding. And this investment brings BigPanda’s total funding to over $120 million.

Sumo Logic, a log management and analytics service, transforms big data into sources of operations, security, and compliance intelligence. They have raised a total of $340M in funding over six rounds. Their latest funding was raised on May 8, 2019, from a Series G round.

1) Assaf Resnick, CEO & Co-Founder, BigPanda

Assaf Resnick is the CEO and co-founder of BigPanda. Prior to founding BigPanda, Assaf was an investor at Sequoia Capital, where he focused on early and growth-stage investing in software, internet, and mobile sectors. Assaf’s time at Sequoia gave him a front-row seat into the challenges of IT scale, complexity, and velocity that Operations teams faced within companies that were rapidly scaling and accelerating. This is the problem that Assaf founded BigPanda to solve. Assaf holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. He lives in Northern California with his wife and three children.

2) Christian Beedgen, Co-Founder & CTO, Sumo Logic

Christian Beedgen is Co-Founder & CTO of Sumo Logic. He brings 18+ years of experience creating industry-leading enterprise software products. Since 2010 he has been focused on building Sumo Logic’s multi-tenant, cloud-native continuous intelligence platform, which is widely used today by more than 2,000 customers and over 100,000 users. Prior to Sumo Logic, Christian was an early engineer, engineering director, and chief architect at ArcSight, contributing to ArcSight’s SIEM and log management solutions.
